Rose has served with Louisville Tourism since June 2011, having worked in the Louisville Visitor Center, Destination Services, and Tourism Development departments. She recently transitioned to the newly created Tourism Sales Manager for Niche & Affinity markets position in June 2022, which focuses on growing travel within the Black and African American and LGBTQ+ markets.
In addition to Rose's regular duties, she is the co-Chair of Louisville Tourism’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee, and is involved in the greater Louisville community as a member of the Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL Award 2021 recipient and graduate of YPAL Emerging Leaders Program, May 2019), Leadership Louisville (Focus Louisville, May 2018), the Kentucky Travel Industry Association, Mayor’s Give A Day Compassion Board, and the Kentuckiana Association for Volunteer Administration. Rose also acts as a Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) City Champ ambassador and assists with facilitating their onboarding classes.
Rose graduated from Hanover College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish in 2008. Rose is a certified Kentucky Travel Planner. Prior to working for Louisville Tourism, she was employed by the U.S. Census Bureau for the 2010 decennial as a Bilingual Matching Technician, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at their Southern Indiana processing center and coordinated weddings with Culbertson West and the University of Louisville Shelby Campus.
Rose is married and living in Southern Indiana with her three dogs.
