We do consider our Tourist Development Council to be "immediate" team members for STR data-sharing purposes. However, we don't regularly share the data with them.
Years ago we priced out the option to share STR data publicly and is was cost-prohibitive for us.
Our destination is 60% vacation rentals / 40% hotels, so we also contract with Key Data and are able to share that data publicly.
Arrivalist also has an STR integration which we are currently evaluating.

Subject: STR Data: To share or not to share
To all my data analysts, business intelligence folks out there...
The topic regarding STR sharing protocols has reared its head once again. It is to my understand that STR data can be shared in narrative form, but the reports may not be shared beyond your "immediate" team. Tourism Economics has a STR data integrated into its External market report, however, that data is typically just the current month, and the % change year over year. Does anyone share STR data in a different format than what's listed above? Do you consider "immediate" team Board members? Hotel partners? Where does that line stop? Any feedback is appreciated!
